We are so grateful that the Lord has connected us to this historic season of fasting and prayer for the Jewish people, the nation of Israel, and the city of Jerusalem.
Stuart Greaves, Executive Director of IHOPKC, sent out an encouraging email yesterday. In that email, Stuart included new and updated resources from Mike Bickle for the Isaiah62Fast. His email was such a blessing that I wanted to pass it along to you. And, please note that we have updated Calvary’s Isaiah62Fast page with these additional resources.
Blessings, Jeff
Email from Stuart Greaves, Executive Director of IHOPKC, May 18, 2023.
Dear IHOPKC Friends and Family,
We are in the second week of this historic season of fasting and praying for Israel. As a leadership team, we believe that we are witnessing the birth of a prayer movement for Israel. “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent” (Isaiah 62:6). Mike Bickle, the founder of IHOPKC, shared a message focusing on 21 prayers for Israel. Please see the notes as well as the links to Mike’s teaching notes. Our IHOPKC staff was inspired by this message, and many are using it as a tool to pray for Israel.

I would also like to highlight a new song that is posted on the Isaiah 62 fast site. “Songs for Jerusalem” was written by Anna Blanc, Morgan Bennett, Hannah Yoo, and Chris Tofilon. This was a song born in the prayer room and has become the theme song of this collaboration of intercession for Israel. Several commented on being deeply moved by this song. Please see also included the web link to the song:
