calvary kids

children’s ministry

At Calvary, we believe we’re called to partner with parents to cultivate in each child a spiritual hunger for God, an awareness of His presence, and a love for His Word.

We desire for kids to develop a personal relationship with God while they are still young, to have strong, godly relationships with others, and to be equipped for ministry and service. To accomplish this vision, we offer diverse programs and special activities in a fun and nurturing environment filled with God’s love.

Sunday Morning Bible study

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15). As we dive into the action-packed book of Mark, we’ll discover the Jesus who came to serve and set people free of sin and death. Kids ages K-5th are invited to join us Sunday mornings at 9 in Room 204 as we explore the wonderful works of Jesus!

New Kids Church Lesson Series

Think you can’t learn something from a bug? Well, think again! From caterpillars, to ants, to fireflies—God’s tiny creations can give us direction on how to live a life that glorifies God. Kids will get take-home pages each week so you can continue to talk about the lesson at home!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”  Psalm 19:1

Kids Church meets on Sunday mornings at 10:40, immediately following worship.
